Interested in ESSA?

Are you a European Studies major?
(Or just interested in Europe?)
Then you should consider joining the ESSA team!

The European Studies Student Association is a great way to get involved in your major. We strive to provide activities and opportunities for European Studies students to connect with others in the program and network with our faculty. This past year we hosted multiple "Brown Bag Lunch" discussions with various faculty members. Topics ranged from study abroad/internship opportunities to what you can do with your major post-graduation. They are a great way to meet your advisors and professors on an informal level, and they provide valuable information for your academic and professional goals.

Coming into next Fall we hope to continue with this momentum to provide students with plenty of opportunities to get involved. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or would like to participate in helping plan and execute activities, let us know! We would love to hear from you! Send us an email at europssa@gmail.com .

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who helped and supported ESSA this year! We had some great activities, including a fun opening social and multiple "Brown Bag Lunch" discussions. We hope to continue this momentum next Fall with even more activities and ways for you to connect with students and faculty in the European Studies major.

Thank you to those who came to our closing social last night. It was a great success! And a special thanks to Professor Benfell and the European Studies faculty for all their support and encouragement. We look forward to seeing you in the Fall!

Good luck with finals, and happy summer!
